Does Getting Dentist Braces Hurt?
When you first get your braces installed there may be some discomfort since they are placing pressure against the teeth. Depending on the type of braces you have, it may take a week or so to get used to having braces in your mouth and it might seem like your speech is a little different. This will only be temporary and will subside in a week or so as you get used to wearing them.
